J.Whites Automotive is partnering
with ArtLifting to directly support homeless and disabled artists
in our community. ArtLifting empowers homeless and disabled individuals
by providing a professional marketplace that sells originals and prints
of their artwork.
The young company was founded by siblings from the area and achieved early success. ArtLifting's impact has been featured in the Boston Globe, Bloomberg Businessweek, ABC local news and the Huffington
Post After successfully launching in Boston with savings on a shoestring
budget, and Liz and Spencer Powers decided to fundraise in order to
expand. Their goal is to raise $20,000 by September 11, 2014 to help
65 more artists in five more cities across the country (D.C., San
Francisco, Detroit, Chicago, and NYC) sell their artwork. Please visit
ArtLifting's Fundraising website https://www.kickstarter.com to pledge a donation.
ArtLifting's co-founder, Liz Powers, would also love to connect with you to decorate your workspace. The company sells museum-quality prints that are professionally framed. All of the corporate sales come with professional labels that explain how your company is directly supporting disadvantaged individuals in the area. Please email liz@ArtLifting.com if you are interested. ArtLifting's mission is to empower homeless, disabled, and other disadvantaged individuals through the celebration and sale of their artwork.
